Liberian Refugee Camp in Buduburham, Ghana

There are about 42,000 refugees registared at the camp that has become a resettlement. We were taken to the Minister of Education. He requested training for the supervisors, teachers, and the Parent Teacher Association.

Mercy Ships is not currently sponsoring the Child Development Program so on our vacation day my colleague and I trained 27 educators. The organizations that partnered with us to make the training possible include Point Hope, World Vision, UNHCR.
